Today is the last day of the year. I haven't blogged since September, however I read other blogs about four times a week. I can't believe how many people blog regularly. I wish I had that stamina. I am expecting a lot in the coming year. I'm excited for changes happening in my professional life and in my personal life.
With one child left at home who is in high school, I feel as though I am being pulled in a different direction with my life. I find that I'm not happy with the job I am doing teaching. While I live my students, my school and most of my faculty, there is something missing..... Or something I just don't get. We are looking currently at changing up our schedule for next year. In my building (middle school) my 5th graders change classes every 48 minutes. They get three minutes to get from one class to another. I'm excited about the change. I hope to teach math to three different pods. I am also currently the junior high cheer coach, I think it's time for a change. While I really enjoy the girls, camp, games, really honestly the whole thing i feel like it's time for a change there too.
In my personal life, I am ready to finish this house. We moved in, in August after renovating the laundry, kitchen and part of the second restroom. We still need to finish the master bed and bath. I would also like to do some landscaping.
My children- Paige and her husband have little Pennie (turned one today) and we just found out (Monday) she will be a big sister in August.
Megan- is finding her own way and hopefully in2015 we can restore that relationship.
Sarah- is living the high life of high school. Half her freshman year over!!!
Hope you have a Happy New Year!!!
